E' pronta, e sarà pubblicata il 6 febbraio 2012, una compilation di "lati B" dei Pet Shop Boys. La raccolta, con i pezzi rimasterizzati, è stata battezzata "Format" e contiene 38 brani usciti tra il 1996 e il 2009. "Format" è il successore ideale di "Alternative", altra raccolta -uscita nel 1995- sulla quale trovarono posto le "B-sides" edite dal 1985 al 1994. Il prossimo disco di studio dei PSB è al momento previsto per l'autunno del nuovo anno. L'album, undicesimo di studio del duo britannico fondato nel 1981 a Londra, sarà il successore di "Yes" del 2009. Il tracklisting di "Format":
