Sono 27 le date ad oggi confermate del tour che Fiona Apple terrā negli Stati Unit nel corso dell'estate 2012. L'artista newyorkese presenterā al grande pubblico la sua nuova fatica in studio, battezzata "The idler wheel is wiser than the driver of the screw, and whipping cords will serve you more than ropes will ever do", debuttando allo State Theatre di Ithaca, New York, il prossimo 19 giugno e facendo tappa anche al Governors Ball Music Festival di New York. L'album č il quarto all'attivo per la Apple - sulla scena musicale dal 1996 - e verrā dato alle stampe il 26 giugno, a sette anni di distanza dal precedente "Extraordinary machine".
