La Carnegie Hall di New York ha ospitato una vera parata di stelle per l'annuale "The music of..." del promoter Michael Dorf. Dopo aver in passato reso omaggio ad artisti come Elton John e Bruce Springsteen, l'edizione di quest'anno ha voluto onorare i Rolling Stones. Gruppi e solisti, tra i quali il "nostro" Jovanotti, si sono concentrati sulle canzoni della raccolta "Hot rocks 1964-1971"; alcuni hanno reinterpretato fedelmente i brani, altri hanno preferito darne versioni personali.
