Da una decina d'anni Billy Bragg, spirito del proletariato britannico, di tanto in tanto regala qualche nuova canzone rendendola disponibile sul suo sito personale. Ora Bragg, ritenuto "sintesi tra Woody Guthrie e i Clash", 54 anni il prossimo 20 dicembre, ha deciso di offrire su CD tutti i brani finora affidati al solo download. Il risultato è un album che è possibile ordinare esclusivamente attraverso billybragg.co.uk; il disco è intitolato "Fight songs" e propone addirittura un brano sul Natale. "Fight songs" contiene questi pezzi:
